Corinne Roberts

Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity.

Charles Mingus

Before joining our team, Corinne worked in book publishing. And while she believes there’s an honoured place for the lyrical narrative, workplace and government communications are not it.

Plain language’s power to make communications more inclusive and accessible is what brings Corinne to work each day. She advocates for using plain language to reduce the barriers people with intellectual, developmental and learning disabilities face when accessing information.

Corinne leads our team of experienced editors. Since joining the Foundation, she has helped improve the standard of public language by overseeing projects for NSW Department of Communities and Justice, the Anti-Dumping Commission and Transport for NSW.

Clients working with Corinne immediately notice her desire for change, hope for the future and mastery of language.
