Experience | Victoria is passionate about creating clarity through substantive plain English editing, as well as helping clients create lasting change. With experience in publishing and the corporate sector, Victoria is a skilled and versatile editor. Highlights with the Foundation include:
As well as editing, Victoria has evaluated client writing, ranging from a single document to hundreds of documents across a whole organisation. She has also helped clients revise their style and writing guides to modernise the advice and support best-practice writing. Her public sector clients include the Department of Human Services, the NSW departments of Education, Family and Community Services and Health. She has also worked with the audit offices of NSW and WA, the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal and the NSW Environment Protection Authority. Private sector clients include major financial institutions in Australia and overseas, corporate law firms and several not-for-profit organisations. |
Before joining the Foundation, Victoria worked on award-winning e-learning products at an educational publisher. | |

Activities | Victoria keeps our online community up to date with plain English news and developments. She is regularly in touch with plain language practitioners around the world, and helps to coordinate the Foundation’s contributions to major plain language events. In 2016, Victoria was on the judging panel for the ClearMark Awards run by the USA's Center for Plain Language. |
