Communication works for those who work at it.
Hélène sees clear communication as the door to success. She knows that whether you write to inform or persuade, clear communication is vital. And plain language is the key that opens the door to clear communication: it enables people to work together more empathetically and efficiently.
Since joining the Foundation, Hélène has helped us spread the word about the benefits of plain language for organisations and individuals. She leads an innovative marketing team and oversees our yearly hunt for the Worst Words of the Year. Hélène uses her marketing expertise to develop and implement data-driven strategies that encourage new clients to adopt plain language.
Hélène has 15 years’ experience in marketing across 3 different countries. She specialises in the business-to-business environment, and has worked in a range of industries, including event management, member services, recruitment and surveillance technology.
