Lynette Colthorpe




Lynette is a highly experienced trainer with a passion for developing effective communication skills in organisations. Her work in the education, not-for profit and corporate sectors has helped to improve communication strategies and processes. Lynette is especially experienced in policy, procedural and curriculum content.

Before joining the Foundation, Lynette worked extensively in the education sector including developing and delivering adult training. She held a number of management and leadership roles, with an emphasis on staff development and professional learning.

  • Diploma of Teaching (University of New South Wales)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Australian Institute of Management)


For many years, Lynette mentored and coached teachers. She was awarded for advancing the education profession by the Teachers Guild of NSW. She also developed a number of teacher writing programs.

Lynette’s studies and research focus on professional and lifelong learning.
