Rachel Bastow

One should aim not at being possible to understand, but at being impossible to misunderstand.

Quintilian

Rachel is passionate about plain language because it supports equity, accessibility and inclusion. It does this by removing barriers that prevent people from participating in all aspects of life. Plain language makes documents impossible to understand.

Since joining our team, Rachel has worked with clients across Australia, including WA Office of the Auditor General and Financial Ombudsman Service Australia. She’s also trained people at Department of Premier and Cabinet NSW and the National Archives of Australia.
