Tony Yortis

Tony has wide experience working with blue-chip organisations in many industries and in the public sector. He has a track record in overseeing business, government and consumer marketing activity (B2B, B2G and B2C) in the health, industrial services, professional services, manufacturing, telecommunications and defence sectors.

Tony has also successfully:

  • led organisations through large change and reform programs, including complex cultural and digital transformations
  • built new products and services, including delivering to world-class customer service standards
  • improved overall organisational performance
  • delivered large growth and boosted customer service excellence.

He has strong business management skills in strategy, operations, commercial management, technology and people management. Combined with his extensive industry experience, he is expert in formulating digital service strategies, and optimising business processes and workplaces.

Throughout his career, Tony has worked to improve the capability of communities and organisations. His leadership and change programs have been recognised at a number of industry events.

Before joining the Foundation, he was a C-level executive at such global organisations as Serco, Sinclair Knight Merz, Coates Hire and Lion Nathan.

Tony has made significant contributions to help organisations rebuild their processes, systems and people capability to better meet digital needs. He has pioneered many ‘firsts’ using technology to update workplaces and improve customer outcomes. Tony has also presented at many technology forums and panels, including being a judge of the ASEAN CIO of the Year awards.
