Christine O’Neill

Christine has a background in teaching English for Specific Purposes, including academic, business and tourism English. She has developed practical communication strategies to reach an audience effectively and believes that clear use of language is necessary, efficient and powerful.

Before joining the Foundation, Christine worked as an English language teacher in several private language colleges and a university pathway program. She was a writing and speaking assessor for an international English language test, an employment services trainer and an academic coordinator. Her skills also include designing courses, writing teaching materials and course administration.

Christine has written a textbook for Japanese–English language teachers enrolled in the J-Shine course, which is recognised by the Japanese Department of Education.
