Dr Elizabeth Beach




Elizabeth is an accomplished writer, editor and proofreader with a commitment to clear, concise communication.

She specialises in writing and editing complex content such as government reports, research papers, website copy, training materials and grant submissions. She has also published over 40 research papers.

Her wide experience in the health, media, education and research sectors, includes work at universities, federal government agencies and a specialist medical college.

Before joining the Foundation, she worked as a research scientist with a particular interest in effective health messaging for behaviour change. She champions the importance of precise language and a clearly articulated argument.

Elizabeth’s work is informed by her keen analytical skills and careful attention to detail in all aspects of document creation.

  • Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology (Western Sydney University)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Linguistics and Psychology (University of Sydney)
  • Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (University of Technology)

She is also a volunteer coordinator of the IPEd mentoring program for NSW.
