David is a specialist in developing client relationships for education programs. As Training Services Manager, he oversees the client experience and ensures that our programs and services match our clients’ needs.

  • David has engaged, built and maintained hundreds of high-profile multi-tiered partnerships across major organisations within the corporate, not-for-profit and government sectors.
  • He is known for his practical, consultative and collaborative approach.
  • He is an expert at working across industries to understand unique client needs and tailor suitable programs.

Before joining the Foundation, David held an Associate Professor position as Industry and Community Coordinator at the University of Sydney, where he led the implementation of a major industry-engaged education program. He has also worked as Industry Advisor at APM College of Business and Communication, part of Torrens University where he was responsible for industry engagement.

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (ITC Australia)
  • RSA/UCLES Certificate in TEFLA (Australian College of English)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies) (Hons.) (University of Sydney)

Activities

David has a long career in education. He began his career in English language training before moving into business and science education. As he has a long interest in language and communication, he has applied his skills to improving communication in all these sectors. His direct experience across multiple industries and his partnership skills ensure that our clients are in good hands.

David is fluent in Indonesian, having lived there in the 1990s where he worked on a signature education initiative of the Australian Government.
