Training

The Plain English Foundation’s writing training is comprehensive and flexible. We can improve general writing skills and support staff with specialist writing needs.

We offer both customised training and a general government writing workshop that is especially suitable for agencies wishing to train small groups.

Our writing workshops:

• can be fully tailored
• use demonstration samples
• are practical and hands-on
• give participants a plain English tool-kit
• can be run using your in-house facilities
• generally have a maximum of 10 participants.

We offer:

• A two-day baseline workshop on plain English document structure and written expression.
• Follow-up one-day workshops to consolidate and extend the baseline workshop writing skills.
• Specialist workshops.
